Car Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems
When it comes to road safety, tyre pressure is something that shouldn’t be left to guesswork. At TyrePal, we specialise in car tyre pressure monitoring systems (car TPMS) that give drivers a clear, real-time view of what’s happening inside their tyres—helping reduce the risk of blowouts, save fuel, and extend tyre life.
Whether you’re on the motorway, a long road trip, or popping down to the shops, knowing your tyre pressure and temperature is right means one less thing to worry about. Our user-friendly solutions are made with everyday drivers in mind, with easy installation and a reliable monitoring range.
Why Tyre Pressure Matters
Incorrect tyre pressure can affect how your car handles, increase braking distances, and even raise the risk of a blowout. Over-inflated tyres can wear unevenly and reduce grip, while under-inflated ones create more rolling resistance – meaning your engine has to work harder and burns more fuel.
A good car tyre pressure monitoring system helps you spot problems before they become serious. It saves time and money and could even prevent an accident.
The Solar Colour Pro Monitor: Practical, Precise, and Easy to Fit
At the heart of our car TPMS setup is the Solar Colour Pro Monitor. It’s been designed to provide reliable tyre data in a fuss-free package.
Accurate and Clear
The Solar Colour Pro Monitor shows each tyre’s pressure and temperature on a clear, colour screen – so you can see what’s happening at a glance. It updates constantly and keeps you informed as you drive.
The system measures:
- Pressures up to 99psi (6.8 Bar)
- Temperatures up to 85°CL
This gives you all the info you need to make safe decisions, whether you’re just popping to the shops or hitting the motorway.

Solar Powered with Rechargeable Battery
No need for complicated wiring or regular battery changes. The monitor is fitted with a built-in lithium-ion battery that lasts up to 60 hours on a full charge. While you’re driving, the integrated solar panel keeps it topped up – and a USB charging lead is included just in case.
It’s compact, smart-looking, and easily mounted on your dashboard – ready to go when you are.
Impressive Range – And Even More with a Repeater
The standard signal range between the sensors and the monitor is up to 7.0 metres, which is more than enough for most cars and even small trailers. But if you need a bit more distance – for example, when towing a longer caravan – you can use our Smart Signal Repeater. It plugs into your vehicle’s power supply and extends the range by another 7.0 metres.
Choose Your Sensor Style: External or Internal
Our TPMS sensors work hand-in-hand with the Solar Colour Pro Monitor. We offer two different types, depending on how you want to fit them.
External TCSO Sensors – No Tyre Removal Needed
The external TSCO sensors replace your tyre valve dust caps and are already pre-configured to work with the monitor straight out of the box. Simply screw them on and you’re ready to go.
Because they’re external, you can install them yourself at home – no need to visit a garage or remove the tyre. They’re a brilliant choice if you want a straightforward, easy-to-fit system.
They’re also fully waterproof and designed to handle road vibrations and weather extremes – so they won’t let you down on the move.
Internal Sensors – A Neat, Long-Term Option
If you’d prefer something a bit more permanent and tucked out of sight, our TCSI internal TPMS sensors are the way to go. These replace the entire valve stem and are fitted inside the tyre, just like factory-fitted direct systems.
They’re ideal if you’re having new tyres fitted or planning to keep the system in place long-term. Once installed, they’re protected from dirt, theft and general wear and tear.
Whichever option you choose, you’ll be getting accurate, real-time data fed directly to the Solar Colour Pro Monitor.
Factory-Fitted Systems: Direct vs Indirect
If you’ve got a newer car, chances are it’s already fitted with a tyre pressure monitoring system. These tend to come in two main types:
Direct TPMS: These systems use sensors inside each tyre to measure pressure and send the data straight to your car’s dashboard. They’re accurate but can be costly to repair or replace.
Indirect TPMS: These rely on the ABS system to detect changes in wheel rotation speed. If one tyre is low, it rotates differently, and the system flags it. However, they don’t provide pressure readings or identify which tyre is affected.
If your car has a direct TPMS, we wouldn’t recommend using our system alongside it. But if your vehicle has an indirect system, our sensors offer a helpful upgrade by giving you actual pressure and temperature data in real time.
