How Our TPMS Kits Work

At TyrePal, our TPMS kits are designed to give you constant visibility of your tyre pressures and temperatures while you drive. Whether you use your vehicle for daily journeys, long-distance touring or commercial use, our systems provide real-time monitoring that helps you stay informed about the condition of every tyre.

Our TPMS kits are built around two key components that work together continuously: wheel mounted sensors and a vehicle monitor.

The Two Parts of Our TPMS Kits

Wheel Mounted Sensors

Our wheel mounted sensors are the first part of the system and the technology doing the hard work at the wheel.

Available as external or internal sensors, they measure tyre pressure and temperature directly from each tyre. Every sensor contains a compact microchip and an integrated battery, allowing it to transmit accurate data wirelessly to the monitor inside your vehicle.

Our sensors are pre-calibrated, so once fitted, they begin transmitting readings straight away. This allows you to start monitoring your tyres immediately.

With a signal range of up to 7 metres, our sensors offer strong communication with the monitor across most vehicle types. For longer motorhomes, caravans, trailers and commercial vehicles, we also offer signal repeaters to boost coverage.

Vehicle Monitor

The second part of our system is the TyrePal vehicle monitor.

This monitor receives live pressure and temperature data from each sensor and presents it in a clear, easy-to-read format. You can view the status of every monitored tyre in real time, with wheel location indicators showing exactly which tyre each reading relates to.

Our monitors are designed to keep drivers informed while making tyre monitoring simple and practical.

The two components communicate with each other using proprietary wireless technology.

Real-Time Alerts

Tyre issues often begin long before they become visible. Our monitors provide audible and visual alarms to alert you to potential problems early. Our systems can warn you about:

  • Slow punctures
  • Fast leakage or rapid deflation
  • Excess tyre temperatures
  • Over-pressure conditions

These alerts can help you act before a small issue turns into a costly breakdown or dangerous blow-out.

For drivers towing caravans or trailers, or travelling long distances in motorhomes, that extra awareness can be invaluable.

Why Fit a TyrePal TPMS Kit?

A TyrePal system does much more than warn you about punctures.

By helping you maintain correct tyre pressures, our TPMS kits can support:

  • Better fuel economy
  • Reduced tyre wear
  • Longer tyre life
  • Improved handling and stability
  • Greater confidence when towing or touring

That’s why many drivers see TPMS as an investment not just in safety, but in running costs too.
