A TyrePal can give the driver advanced warning of an over-heating tyre or one running at low pressure before a damaging blowout.
Even the best managed vehicles can suffer punctures, that undetected can lead to permanent tyre damage or a blowout.
Tyre pressure also hits fuel consumption, tyre life and handling so a TyrePal system can quickly pay for itself.
Spot trouble before it happens
A TyrePal gives the driver to an easy way to spot trouble before it happens. Any abnormality, either over or under pressure, or a tyre running hot sounds an alarm in the cab.
System outline
Sensors on each tyre transmit tyre pressure and temperature data wirelessly via a smart relay that boosts the signal and sends it to the monitor in the cab. The monitor displays the actual pressure in each tyre and gives an audible alarm if there’s any abnormality. One relay is fitted to the truck, and for articulated vehicles, a further relay is fitted to the trailer.
Quick and easy installation
Valve-cap sensors simply replace the standard dust caps and can be locked in position. This means that the system is quick to install without removing the tyres and if the tyre is replaced, the sensor is easily transferred to the new tyre. Locking collars prevent casual theft.
For artics, each trailer is fitted with its own relay unit, and the monitor displays data for the attached trailer. If the trailer is switched, the display updates to show the new attached trailer.
