Yes TyrePal systems really are very quick to install.

The procedure is different for TA22 and TD series, so you will need to refer to the instructions.

TD series

TD series come with sensors pre-allocated to each wheel position, so once you have installed the batteries, you just replace the standard valve caps with the sensors. The system displays tyre pressures and is fully functional.

It takes a bit longer if you are fitting the security collars to the sensors because you have to slip these on the valve stem first and then tighten them with the key.

Beyond that, if you want to change the display units or adjust the alarm settings it is a matter of a few button presses, described in the manual.

TA22

For TA22 you start by setting the target tyre pressures and then register the sensos to the wheel positions you want to monitor. Again you have the choice of whether or not you want to use the security collars.

If you want to change pressure settings or wheel positions after a TA22 is set up, you have to reset the system by unregistering the sensors and then going through the set-up procedure again.
